These self-contained wheel load scales are typically purchased and used in either two, four, or six unit configurations to weight one, two or three truck axles at a time. Each wheel weigher provides an individual weight reading, or connecting cables can total two or more scales together to display combined weights. If desired, the scale system can communicate to an optional roll-tape or slip/ticket printer in order to print the weight readings.
Wheel Weigher Scale Standard Features
- Operates on six NiCad (standard) or alkaline batteries
- Battery life: Approximately 1500 charge/discharge cycles
- Battery duration between charges: Approximately 8 hours of continuous use before the scale shuts itself off. (These numbers are lowered by the use of the lamps or active current loop transmission.)
